Well Queen of the Faries is coming along really well as she is being worked on on a wednesday night, as this is UFO night on the Crafty Natter Yuku board.

I am also doing a SAL on the Crafty Natter Board, Heirloom Christmas Sampler. I am down to the 22nd row, so much more to do on that.

I am also doing a hardanger needle roll, which I started in my Hardager group that meet in Long Eaton, at someones house. Which is nearly finished.

I have also started doing Patchwork quilting. I have made two, sorry three bags and a Dolls Quilt for Rebecca for Christmas, I am now going to make her a quilt in the same material for her bed. I am going to make my son a Quillow, for when he goes out and takes his duvet with him, so he can take the Quillow instead and not worry about leaving his duvet at the place that he is staying.

I am making some Mill Hill Bead Ornaments for christmas present too, and also some of the picket fence ornaments too. As I have a friend who likes Snowmen and so does my Mother. So I am going to be busy making Chrismtmas presents.

I thought that I would say Hi

August 18, 2008 - 2 Responses

I have been busy with work, and for a while I lost my stitching mojo. So I haven’t really been doing any stitching. On the crafty Natter board we have been doing a UFO night where I have been stitching on Queen of the Faries

I have also done some more on QS Lily of the Valley, but I need to take a picture of her.

I have been working on a bag for Rebecca, ready for when she goes to pre-school in September so that has been taking up my time, as soon as it is finished I will take a photo.
I would like to do some more to Taj Mahal Mandala as well this year but the year is fast running away from me. But we shall see.

QS Lily

March 21, 2008 - 4 Responses

of the Valley by Anderson. I have been working on her since I finished Snow Pixie and I have managed to do a grand total of 1871 stitches on her since the 16th of March 2008. QS Lily of the Valley

I have decided that I am going to work on Moonlight Magic for the Background SAL on the HAED BB this Easter weekend. As I am doing Lily the rest of the time and she isn’t needing extra time to get her finished.

I did forget to mention that Snow Pixie is a well travelled cat, as she came with me to a business meeting in Geneva Switzerland on the 2nd and 3rd of March 2008.

Hello

March 18, 2008 - Leave a Response

I am sorry that I haven’t posted for a while I have been really busy with a new job and at the same time helping a friend realise that he has been taken the right royal pee out of by a “Friend” of his. This person has been bad mouthing people to Richards parents, employees and accountants. Needless to say he is no longer his friend.

My dog Joey is not too well at the moment either, to start with they thought that it was his back and legs, then he had an x-ray and found that his back was fine, at the moment it is a toss up between a cardio infarction with a possible blood clot on his spine, causing his legs to do silly things, or he may have a growth on his brain. This they think is more likely as he doesn’t like shaking his head or body at the moment, and the fact that he is only going to be 6 this year. Now I could have an MRI done on him, but you are talking about £2160 +VAT so £2500 approximately, which I could spend to find that he has a growth and for them to tell me how much time he has left. Or I could end spending twice that, as they may not find what is wrong from the first test that they do. Richard has said that eh would loan me the money to get the scan done, and a part of me thinks I would like to have it done so that I sort of know what to expect, and then another part of me doesn’t want to know. And I don’t like owing people money. I really aren’t having a lot of luck with dogs.

Anyway I have been so busy that my stitching has been neglected a bit, however I have managed to finish HAED QS Snow Pixie HAED QS Snow Pixie she was finished on Sunday the 16th March 2008. My focus piece now is QS Lily of the Valley by Anderson. On Sunday I did 722 stitches and Monday I managed 226 stitches on Lily, so she is looking a bit different now.

Thank you for reading, and sorry that I have been so long in writting hopefully it won’t be so long next time. *HUGS*

I would like to take this time to wish you all a Merry Christmas

more colour left to do on the last page of Gathering Dew. Although there are a lot of that colour stitch to do. The colour that is left is Kreinik #4 braid 037. I know, it is the first and last time that I will use #4 braid when stitching 1×1, I have been using #4 on Snow Pixie but she is being stitched 2 over 1 so it doesn’t look so bad.
