as I would like, but I did manage 394 stitches Gathering Dew as of the 10th of December 2007 I am still hoping that I will have her finished by the end of the month. But I haven’t done any stitches since Monday. I am going to try today, but I will be driving from 2.30-8.30. Then tomorrow I shall be driving again from 6.30 until I finish.

Anyway thank you for reading *HUGS*

Here is Gathering Dew

before the final SAL compertition on the Heaven and earth BB. Gathering Dew as of the 8th of December 2007 I am going to be driving tonight, Saturday. But I am hoping that I will get some, rather a lot of stitching done Sunday and Monday. If I were to sit and do 300 stitches a day I think that she would be finished in about 13-14 days. So I am going to do my best to get it finished before the end of the month.

I know that I have been

November 4, 2007 - 3 Responses

a bit quiet and a bit distant on here lately, now I can explain why. I am going to move tomorrow, my parents are buying the house for me and I am going to pay them back. So as you can imagine I have been a bit stressed with getting all the things sorted for the move, and a bit daunted by the fact that my parents are paying for the house. So at one point I was very low with it all. Any way here are some pictures of what it looks like The New House and here is the floor plans Ground Floor Plans  Upstairs floor plan

Well tomorrow I actually get the keys and will be moving things about. So unfortunately I won’t be doing a lot of stitching. But as soon as I am settled Gathering Dew will be back in my hand, as she is so close to being finished.

I would like to start

October 30, 2007 - One Response

by saying thank you to everyone who left comments and sent prayers and all well wishers after Chaz passed away. They all really helped. So thank you.

I would also like to say thank you to Liz, as she RAKed me with a Sampler by Selina Fenech Sampler by Selina Fenech and HAED and I would also like to thank Melenie (Meldmac) as she RAKed me with Lisa Victoria’s QS Hearts Desire Lisa Victoria's Hearts Desire HAED

Rusty was given the all clear from the vets on the Wednesday, my Birthday! He is still bruised but slowly getting back to himself.

We are still missing Chaz, and Charlie is still blaming himself for what happened, even thought I try and convince him that it wasn’t his fault.

Stitching wise I haven’t really got alot done. But I did partisipate in the SWIP/Halloween SAL on the HAED BB and managed 3061 stitches on Lily of the Valley by Rachel Anderson. Here is what she looks like now QS Lily of the Valley as of 29th of October 2007.

Thank you for reading and for all your support *HUGS*

Rest in Peace Chaz

Today my son was taking my dogs for a walk, I have a Shih Tzu called Joey aged 5, Shih Tzu crossed with a Chihuahua called Chaz aged 7 and a Yorkshire Terrier crossed with a Jack Russel Terrier called Rusty aged 14 months old. When out of nowhere a greyhound came flying up to them and first attacked Rusty, and then Chaz sort of having a go at Joey, but because the others are smaller they were attacked more. Chaz was flung around like a rag doll.

My son and his friend tried so hard to get the Greyhound off of poor chaz, so much so that they ended up with cuts on there hands and my son ended up with a load of blood under his nail and we ended up in A & E.

Anyway they eventually got the dogs back to the house, and I washed Chaz and Rusty down as they were covered in saliva and blood. When Chaz was in the shower he didn’t shiver or anything. He didn’t really want to hold his head up.

I finished showering the dogs and rang the vets and took them there as soon as I had finished the phone call.

I should say that the partner of the owner of the dog was very sympathetic and said that they were going to pay the vet bills.

Anyway the vet saw the dogs and saw how floppy Chaz was and sent him off for a chest x-ray and keep him warm and give him a drip. Rusty was also kept in as he had a lot of bruises and making funny bubbling noises near his chest. Joey was fine.

So I left the two dogs there and took Joey home. And then took the kids to A & E to have there cuts looked at. Charlie had his nail pierced to get rid of the blood under the nail. And Scott had this hand scrubbed with Iodine and they were both given Anti-Biotics.

We then went to McDonalds and had lunch before going to Homebase to look at and buy wallpaper.

While there I got a phone call from the vet saying that Chaz had died at about 12.00 possibly from a head injury. He had suffered broken ribs but she thinks that he had suffered head injuries and that was what had killed him.

Chaz and Joey

REST IN PEACE
