Lily of the Valley

was started on Friday, I don’t have a picture yet as I haven’t finished the SAL. However I have managed to do 841 stitches on Friday, 847 stitches on Saturday and 1367 stitches yesterday. Well half stitches. Saturday I had my folks over for dinner. I cooked Gammon with whiskey sauce and for Mother I cooked a cheese cake, Father had raspberries. If you click here you will see what I cooked.

On the Thursday I stitched on Gathering Dew and managed 236 stitches, which wasn’t bad considering I went into Cambridge and dropped Charlie’s friend Scott at the train station ad then I did some work on a CV for me.

I had gone to the local estate agents and asked them what qualifications I needed to be an estate agent, and the chap told me common sence, willingness to learn and want a challenge. Which sounded good to me. He then asked for a CV, so that is why I am trying to get one sorted out.

Ok he did say that at the minute they weren’t looking for staff, however there is a new branch opening in Cambridge, so the staff may be moved around and there may be an opening in the Papworth branch. So I will keep my fingers crossed.

Thank you for reading *HUGS*

  1. How do you fit so much stitching time in round a family? You do loads! I’m lucky if I get 100 stitches a day.

  2. Looking forward to seeing your progress on Lily of the Valley Polly. I’ve managed 1600 stitches on my new start so far and I’m hoping to get more done tonight!

  3. I’m just about to start the Lily of the Valley pattern too… I’d love to see photos of your progress.
